We're getting a bit faster again! My hope is to get back onto a somewhat regular production schedule, but that's easier said than done!

Again, as is plain to see, there is more text and there are fewer pictures than in the past. We'll continue to adjust and tweak the formatting, but the hope is to be able to tell a bigger and better story in a shorter amount of time. Hopefully, it works out okay!

I hope there will be more panels, as it kinda feels more like a novel w/ visual aid than a comic series

Agreed. Another comic I used to read did the same thing, though they would switch between visual novel style and a full comic, and it killed my interest completely. Take all the time you need to do a comic page-- I personally didn't come here for a book!

There's also the problem of ComicFury not really being set up well for visual novel/illustrated storytelling (nor most webcomic hosts), not least of the issues being that all the text has to be in an image.

This works, but it's about as far toward "novel" as you should go with it.

Just let the sketches and doodles flow in the Scripting phase, you'll know which ones need to be expanded into a full on Art Panel. Like the "thought bubble fade" as Isla Grace (The Mom) visualizes her Foxy form going in for a 15' Skyhook Layup...

And when it starts looking like a "Wall O Text" *THAT'S* when you flip the script and turn it into a paragraph or two of straight text exposition.

Format

I am a bit surprised they haven't told their kids mom is the werevixen known as The Incredible Golden Fox.

Really can't quite tell them yet - Kids can't help blabbing at that age, and someone will believe them enough to check it out, and "One huge mess coming right up!" You need some leverage that gets them to really keep the secret properly secret, and that hasn't happened yet.

I know you probably are getting mixed opinions on the new format; but I wanted to say I think its a really neat change and works out pretty well so far. Learning more about these characters at a faster rate is certainly enjoyable.

Thank you greatly for taking the time to tell this story - IX

I gotta say I have never been a fan of the visual novel format in web comics. Really hoping you go back to the old format down the road.
