Gee, where could Mom possibly be?

New updates appear every Monday at midnight Mountain Standard Time (Pacific Daylight Time). If you're anxious to see into the future, our Patreon site is currently updating THREE PAGES AHEAD!

Also, the comic is now updating on Webtoons, as well. The formatting is different there, so you'll get some larger versions of many of the individual panels. If you'd like to check it out, please click here...

Isla Grace finally sees her girls again (though she can't let the incredible golden secret out of the bag). And she finally faces off with what will, without a doubt, be her most difficult opponent to date!

Also, please like, rate, and subscribe while you're there!

You can become a Patron for just $2 per month at! Not only are the updates three pages in advance, the pages can be viewed in high definition - 2100x3150! There are also extra images, sketches, animations, and other goodies available!

The bomb squad guy looks a lot like Shaggy from "Scooby-Doo".

If the girls have seen any of the TV news reports, one question may be, 'How come your fur is golden now?' Given her name, that may seem a dumb question, but she was red.

Does she have a different voice as a fox? If not how does her girls not recognize her voice?

Given the notable differences in shape between human-Isla's skull and fox-Isla's skull, differences which obviously include the hollow cavities that influence how our voices sound, it would be physically reasonable that her voice is very different when she changes. This, of course, assumes that mere physical reality is in charge, which is not entirely clear, seeing as how we're talking about a shapeshifting superheroine…

That's possible Cubist. We don't know how her voice sounds as a fox.

I don't always respond to questions or theories here. A couple of reasons why - either the answer will come within a few pages and I don't wish to spoil it, or it's better for the story if it remains a mystery, at least for the time being. There's also the much rarer option where I haven't even thought about it yet. This fits none of those categories, so I figured I'd chip in here. ;) Isla Grace's voice is just different enough (huskier, more gravely, however you want to term it) for it not to be immediately recognizable even to those closest to her. Of course, now that the girls know it's her, they'll be able to recognize her subtly changed voice without a problem!

Do the girls know it is Mom? Or do you mean they will figure it out the next time they hear her speak in her human voice? Parker has heard both voices, but has not commented on the difference 'on screen.'

Oops! Jumped the gun on that one! *slaps self across the face* Obviously, the girls will know it's her - possibly as soon as the next page!

I think she'd have to sound like this:
