Some last name changes are more drastic than others. That tends to happen a lot in my family. Even going from Abernathy to my last name would be a big step. At least Parker shares his last name with the crazy cat lady from The Simpsons.

It may be that the surname is not responsible for the powers, but a contributing factor. It allows for Isla Grace to have been raised by Foxes, whatever that has to with the situation.

You're not too terribly far off from what's in my mind. Rather than British, though, I have him pegged as a New Zealander. I hear Taika Waititi's voice when I'm drawing him and writing his dialogue.
