Page seven of chapter two. Parker is having difficulties confronting Isla Grace about her "condition".

It might not be the ring itself that caused her transformation. She might have been born a werefox and not never knew it. The ring might of turned her power on.
You need to hit up more Japanese, Korean, and Chinese myth and folklore then. A Kitsune (Japanese fox spirit) is very well known for its transformation ability, even if it does have to either keep its natural fur or a tail (the stronger ones are known for having multiple tails, indicative of their full strength), and they have been known to inter-breed with humans. I'm not as familiar with the fox demons of Korean myth, but I do recall something about them being able to transform as well (and without a tell-tale to identify them when transformed, at least I think it was the Korean ones). Lastly, I vaguely recall something about a fox spirit or demon also appearing in Chinese myth or folklore, but I don't recall any details (unless this is the one that can do full transfomrations and not the Korean one).
It would be more accurate to say that were-foxes, or fox spirits with the ability to transform or shape-shift, isn't a part of European myth and folklore, which is what 90% or more of the English speaking world is familiar with. Yes, fox spirits also appear in Native American myth and folklore, but to the extent of my knowledge they don't transform or shape-shift.
Interesting new layout on the website (thumbs up) and is this webcomic going to be like a superhero comic? Where isla grace fights bad guys as a anthro fox?
Thanks! Sorry for the boxes that may have appeared and disappeared at random. I was in the process of working on the new layout, and there really isn't an easy way on my host site to test it out without creating a few WTF moments for my readers. :) I'm hoping there will be some new and different items added to the panel on the right in the not too distant future.
