Page eight of chapter two. You can't blame Parker for keeping a close eye on Isla Grace during the week.

We were looking for something appropriately bad. After all, it seems that most apartment complexes select the absolute worst carpets imaginable for their shared spaces.
Kind of a long story there. I had wanted to update Rescued once a month or so, but I got so many complaints (and no compliments) when I did update that I simply didn't find it worth my time and effort any more. I know there was probably a silent majority out there that enjoyed the comic (even on a once per month basis). Unfortunately, there was an extremely loud minority who made the task simply unbearable for me.
When something you once did simply for fun is no longer fun for you, it makes it difficult to carry on. The nasty comments I received throughout the various pages of the comic just became too much of a burden for me to keep editing away - not to mention the nasty e-mails I got.
So, basically, I decided I'd be the guy that takes his ball and goes home. It sucks for those of you who enjoyed the comic, but it's no fun for me to be bullied into updating and then simply yelled at when I do post a new page. I don't have a ton of time to create comics (at least until I can better supplement my income through them), and wasting 8 hours making a comic that only gets me more grief isn't worth it. I'd rather carry on and devote all my comic making time to PAIGF. I hope you understand.
While I understand your reasoning, it still saddens me that you deleted it. Shame there was not a way for you to just not receive messages from people through Rescued.
An Idea: Make new "Rescued" strips a Patreon premium.
Even at just the $1 level, I doubt the unhelpful/overOpinionated/unkind types would be willing to pay for the privilege.

You know, relay the fox to one another. No matter how bo-ring it may sound.

Went to check to see if you have updated it and the site says it no longer exists.
