I don't think the military necessarily expects their trainees to be smiling the entire way through the obstacle course.

Page seventeen of chapter three. Pages appear once a week on Fridays. However, become a Patron at and get the pages a month early (and in high definition - 2100x3150).

So is she going to go anthro or full fox while on the training course?

I Am ok with looking information if it was a last request from Islam Grace father but the idea is unsettling to the people in a 1984 way

Her father was killed in action when she was around 12 years. General Stanley has basically been a surrogate father to her since then.

How does shifting her eyes affect her vision, exactly?
From what I know about foxes, their eyes can't see the colour red and have very poor sensitivity to non-moving objects, while, on the other hand, they have much better motion detection and low-light vision than human eyes...

Isla Grace has the best of both worlds when it comes to vision. She retains her color sight and actually gains some visual acuity. She doesn't really need her glasses anymore - even in human form - but she still wears them to keep up appearances. Her motion and night vision are much improved over even the best sighted people.
